Accounting Manager

General Purpose
This position applies professional accounting concepts and internal policies and procedures to solve and analyze accounting issues. This position is responsible for the timely preparation and analysis of management and regulatory financial reporting. Interfacing with all operational areas of the Bank, this position coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting procedures and compliance with internal controls.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage the daily cash management and investment.
• Analysis and preparation of financial statements and all supporting schedules.
• Completion of required regulatory reporting (daily, weekly, quarterly, semiannually, and annually).
• Manage the fixed assets system.
• Manage the prepaid expenses.
• Manage the accounts payable processing system.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform general ledger maintenance.
Other Duties
• Compile and analyze data for budget.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Duties
• Manage and Supervise Accounting Services Staff and performance results.
Knowledge
• Knowledge of a variety of accounting or banking concepts, practices and procedures.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.

Education
• College degree in accounting or related experience.
Experience
• Three to five years of accounting or banking.
• Two to three years of previous supervisory experience.
Equipment
• Computer, calculator and 10-key adding machine, telephone and fax machine, copier and various small office equipment.
